how do you tell if your rotor cap is bad? i looked at mine today and it appears o rubbing the inside of the dist cap. on the white part of the rotor is all fizzy from rubbing. im having some issues where my car is missing. this probably my problem? is it normal for the rotor to rub on the cap if its gone bad? thanks in advance

 

from what I undertand your rotor shouldn't be touching anything at all. Seems like you need a replacement. (probably cap and rotor).
