A/C gets warm at idle
1993 Accord. 308k miles. Well maintained.
At idle, after a minute or 2 of standing still, like at the drive through at Taco Bell, the air conditioner turns warm. It also kicks on and kicks off every few seconds. But it will get cold again soon after I start moving. What's the deal? It has been converted over to R134A a few years ago. Could I have a leak? Do I just need a recharge? Please help! Thanks!

There's no moving air hitting the condensor to cool it down. I have the same issue with my '92. I just turn it off and roll down the windows until I get moving. A pusher fan may do the trick.
both will be on when the A/C button is pressed, and will stay on until the A/C is turned off. Also sounds like a recharge couldn't hurt. If you have R12 refridgerant, you can pick up the conversion kit at Kragen, PepBoys, Napa Auto Parts, pretty much anywhere. New oil charge + R134a and you're good to go. Works great, if only my high pressure A/C hose didn't split on me....

It's been converted to R134A already.
Only one fan is working. Should I pull the fan motor and bench test it with 12 volts? If its bad replace it? What if it works?
