The Accord forum has ~21,000 posts and the Integra forum has ~70,000 posts. Point is, there's a lot more information about the Integra and modifying it. There's just a massive amount of support for the DC chassis and B-series engine. So that's one plus.
Stock vs. stock, the Integra is sportier and more fun to drive. For example, my friends Accord came stock with 185 width tires, little tiny things that look like they belong on a geo metro. The F22 is a relatively low-tech engine compared to a B series, 2.2 liters, one cam, no vtec and about 140 hp. I don't know the weight but I'm sure it's heavier than an Integra.
Sure you can make anything fast with enough money or ingenuity. It's not very often you see a really quick Accord. If you want to stay NA you pretty much have to swap to H22A or F20B, I don't think I've ever seen a really quick all motor Accord with the F22.

simply put.... look around and see how many parts are available for the B series motor and the price for it.
look around for parts for the h/f series. see what they offer and the price for it.
teggies over accords any day

If you can land a GSR (or even if you can't), the Integra is better if you plan to make it fast/race it. The Accord is good if you want more room, want to cruise, etc. An Accord with an H22 (Prelude engine) transplant is pretty sweet, but that's probably more work and $$$ than you'd like to spend. The Integra has an exceptionally well-designed double-wishbone front suspension, with multi-link trailing arm rear suspension. Performance parts are extremely abumnant for the Integra's B18 motor. The GSR (B18C1 motor) is more performance-oriented than the LS/GS's B18 (thank you VTEC!!). There is a reason many people refer to the B18 as "today's 350 Chevy" -- they are plentiful, parts are widely available, and its limits are almost boundless. You can even get B18 crate motors now.
Anyway, as you suspected, since this is an Integra forum, the majority of us will prefer the Integra over the Accord. I believe that both cars have their purpose, but if you prefer hauling *** over hauling all your friends, a GSR should be in your future.

i have a gsr and accord. i got the accord first and 'hooked it up' with suspension and boltons..it was still pretty slow, but i never meant it to be performance oriented. the gsr on the other hand is alot lighter and faster. its alot more fun to drive the gsr. ive since put my accord back to stock and drive it for what its worth (grocery getter

ive owned 2 accords and now a integra gsr , all of which i "hooked up"....i like the gsr a lot better though....the gsr is much better handeling and performance......my 93 accord wasnt too bad though, it was pretty quick (but still slow)....and then the 97 accord looked pretty nice, but it was a little slower than the 93 bc its heavier but w/same motor......they are both good cars though, but as far as performance and handeling goes......i like integras a lot better!
I have an 00 Accord I4 EX and a 99 GSR. I am not even sure why you are comparing the 2. They are completely different car. Accord is really meant to be a family car.. even the Accord coupe, it has nowhere that says performance. If you care about performance, go for Integra. If you care about comfort, go for Accord... or if you want a little bit of both, look for a Prelude. If you have money, just get yourself a RSX
I've got a 95 gsr, and my sis has a new 4 dr. EX Accord. The Honda is very nice, but driving it for a few hours you really miss the fun factor of the Teg. (Not that the gsr is fun compared to something like an s2000) I'm sure the Accord is a better car overall than the Teg, but it's just so damn boring and such a mom's car.

Not with a h22 motor and zeal (circuit) suspension
Try doing some research on both forums and see what you like.

Personally the Accord looks more like a middle aged person car. It is a great car and all but for someone who wants better turning capability and maneuvering personally I think the Integra is better than the Accord. Maybe I'm biased because I own an Integra.
My dad has a 01 accord sedan ex that i have been using for the past couple of years being poor and carless. I recently bought a 92 integra ls (about a week ago) and have been driving that. Then yesterday i had to bring my dad's car somewhere for him and realized that it isn't as much fun as i had previously thought. I'm sticking with the integra.
you can always get a 4 door integra gsr??... it has power and is sorta roomy. So i guess u can have the best of both worlds.
i wouldnt do it, but its an option... jus throwing you some suggestions.
Go for a DC2

I've had both cars and have to say the Integra is a far better car.
Points for an integra Vs. Accord:
*Better Fuel economy
*Cheaper maintainence
*Better tire fitments
*Better Braking system (Accord rotors always seemed to warp and always needed to have a specialist change them, since I had nothing to press out the bearing in the middle)
*More Sporty Feel
*Better acceleration
*More aftermarket parts available
Points for and Accord:
*More room
*Front end looks pretty good, stock.
*Nothing else to tell ya the truth.
Just my 2 cents...

thats the idea
get positive feedback from both worlds and compare
basically only things i dont like about the teg is its history of getting stolen...and i dont like the headlights, but i can just get new ones

well the 94-01 integras are 3rd gen. models are RS, LS, GS, GS-R, and the type R was made in 97(i belive). RS is the lightest and quickest teg between the ls, rs, and gs because of its weight. GS-R stands for Grand Sport Race i belive i could be wrong. its about 178hp and it has v-tec. this is wut i did, i bought an RS. i had the weight advantage against stock gs, ls. and i put a GSR on the RS block. its called LSvtec or in my cas Rsvtec. different features are in different models such as sunroof, power windows, door, etc. the disadvantage with the rs is it doesn thave a sunroof or ABS, stock. but if i were you just get a GS-R and call it a day. i have a GSR and RS, both are great, and previously i had an accord, it was my moms......it was alright bt i love both of my integras. if you want power you should get a GSR or if you can afford it, a Type R. but if you want to crusie get an accord, oh yeah integas just look s alot better i think.

Having owned two Accords,( i STILL OWN ONE ) I can tell you that the Integra is just a much sportier car and nice car to drive. Even tho it was only a 92 LS, it was still more fun than the 92 EX 5spd we had. I still own my 88 Accord, which has a B18c1 and it's still not as fun as an Integra. You also have to take into consideration that the Integra is very attractive car and thieves seems stick to it like dust. If you want comfort & nice a ride, the Accord might be for you. If you ok comfort & a nice ride, then the teg is for u.
