what would cause my car to ping the timming is set at 18 deg. the gas is 91 octane any suggestions appreciated

sorry I should have explained better I know what it is I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it I have timming at stock so I know it is not to far advanced and I am running premium fuel so octane should be high enough is there any other reason it might still do this
