Default What timing bel to use?

i have a d16y8 block with a d16a6 head on it and the timing belt that was on the y8 block is way to short, and the belt of the a6 is way to long, i tried a dx belt but it is the same size as the ex belt, any one ever done this or know what timing belt i can use? thank you

are you sure you're installing it correct? adjusting the tensioner to give you slack and all, and having the right teeth pattern?
