Ahh crap, where's the main relay?
Okay, I've read a ton on here and even seen a photo of the damn thing. I've got a '90 Accord. There's like 5 normal looking relays right above the fuse panel under the dash but I don't think it's any of those. What's the plug look like? Is it 8 prong and rectangle? I went to Autozone to see what they have in stock as the "main relay" and theirs is a tiny 4 prong thing that I don't think is it. I found one box that feels as though it may click when the ECU light turns off but it's much larger then I expected and the plug doesn't look right. LOL, maybe I'm just ignorant and I never claimed to be an auto electrical genious. LOL, help, which is the relay I need to pull to test??? What sucks is that clicking only happens once in a blue moon and I usually only get about 3 tries before it stops working and the damn car won't start again. I'm 99% sure that the relay is my problem from that alone but I can't find the damn thing.

My main relay went out on me just last week (90 EX). If you have cruise control look for a silver box just above the steering column. You will have contort yourself under the dashboard and look straight up and slightly to your right. Remove the cruise control computer and the main relay is above bolted to the ceiling of the dashboard. It is fairly big about 1.5" x 4".
As far as I know you can only get one at the dealer.

Okay, I know EXACTLY the silver box you're talking about. It's kinda big, maybe 4" square and 1" thick? I'll check it tonight. Off hand do you remember what the relay set you back?
i think someone is selling a main relay cheap. I think its boostedf22 (?i think?). It's in someone's sig...you could also post a "need a main relay thread" -ask the mod before you do that though

Yeah he's selling it for $40 which is what I got my main relay for (for my '97) from Honda. This is one of the few parts honda doesn't want internal organs for

HAHA, got it out last night!!! The worst part is when I went to the car to pull it my damn stereo was stolen along with my flashlight that was sitting in the passenger seat from looking for the relay on Sunday. They left the tools and ohm/volt meter that I left there though??? LOL, damn gangsta kids are probably just going to throw the Johhny Cash (I normally listen to punk) CD that was in the deck out the window though!!! I'm more pissed about the CD and the flash light!!! So, I had to run to the store to buy a new mag light and then upon return I got the relay out!!! It wasn't clicking when I pulled it out but once I did the tests that I found here with jumper wires it passed everything. It had cooled down a lot though. I left it sitting on the dash and will check it when I get home cause it should be nice and warm.
