Default EG fellows

What are the different types of front headlight houses available for EG civics? Its not a riceboy thing, I just think the headlight housing is rather ugly. Is there one that looks better?

This is a bad idea, to switch to JDM headlights.

The lighting is almost identical and the only difference is perceivable only by owners of the JDM headlights. I own them on my EG6 (yes, it's an EG6 because it's a Civic SiR -- not every EG-style Civic hatchback is EG6!! I'm getting frustrated at the continous abuse of the term... but I digress)

I can't tell the difference b/w my headlights and the regular ones!

Anyway, the downside is not only do you have to buy the damn JDM headlights, the actual bulbs are FREAKING EXPENSIVE! I just had to get mine replaced and they were a freaking rip off! You can't use regular H4 bulbs, you have to get special JDM spec headlights. VERY VERY ANNOYING!

I'm thinking of swapping out the JDM headlights for a set of projectors since it's more cost effective. I was charged US$30 for the bulb -- A SINGLE bulb! It lights up yellow-ish like a regular headlight but it's $30!

(btw, i own the car in Australia)

jdm eg6 headlights look like stock headlights except there is no stupid nipples and they have built in city lights. then theres the projector lights that come in chrome houseing and black housing, i htink the black housing ones look really nice with dark colored cars.

Good point about the city lights. As for the nipples -- having them means you can buy cheaper bulbs which I think is quite worth it!

When I go to Malaysia for holidays, i'll remember either buy some projectors or just stock up on JDM bulbs by Raybrig. They're much cheaper over there if I remember...

they arent actually CITY LIGHTS .
they are courtesy lights or parking lights to us in the states. when we turn our parking lights on here in the U.S., our ambers come on in the front, in JAPAN when they turn their parking light on, the courtesy light comes on. it is a small bulb in the headlight housing that lights it up very dim. their corners don't light up. they only turn on when you signal. the JDM ones are plastic too which is real light. if you get the OEM stanley corners, it looks extra saucy cause the gap between the corner light and the headlight is gone and it looks like a one piece.

Speaking of the JDM headlights. Does anyone have a set for sale or know where I can buy a set? I'm also in the market for the JDM corner lights. Thanks guys.
