Should I buy an S2K? Owners opinions please!
I own a 90 CRX Si and love it. I was planning on major upgrades for the suspension in the next week or two and was interested in getting into some road racing. But... then I spotted a used S2K at the local Honda dealership and took it for a test drive. It handles very similar to my CRX, but everytime I reached to shift I realized I was at like 5k RPM and it was pulling like my old rex does at redline. Needless to say... I loved it.
The S2K was a 2002 with 24k miles and was $25k. A little steep for me but a 00-01 Spa Yellow with 40-50k miles at $19-20k would be prime. Insurance is affordable but I don't know about what car payments will be like. It will be a little tough but I spend plenty in maintenance and upgrades already. Really I guess I am just looking for how much people are paying a month for a $20k car, if its affordable, the car has already sold itself to me.
Thanks in advance for any advice at all!

it all really depends on how much you put down on the loan, just did a little checking on this website

and it all depends on how long you are able to finance it for, interest rate and the downpayment could be anywhere from $600 or less click on both links

Depends on you really, not the car. If you like tinkering with the rex, and would rather spend the monthly payments modding a car, then stick with your rex. If you'd prefer the car be good to go straight from the dealer, then the s2k is a pretty obvious choice.

Ouch... looks like I better get a raise first. It's do-able but I don't think I want a payment as high as it would be. Thanks for the link though!
