just as stated above...is there a special way to seperate the corner lenses so i can paint the inside amber? i heard that you can bake them in the oven to get the stock glue to melt...anyone tried this? please let me know before i ruin my OEM lenses...thanks....

 

why paint the inside amber when you can paint the outside transparent amber??

Some people bake their lights some boil them.....

 

i was planning on painting them with stained glass paint...but i heard it had to be done from the inside...
also is bake/boil the only way?

 

put it on bake not broil, set to 250 degrees, lay some tinfoil on the rack, place rack in center of oven, set timer to 5 minutes, watch item closely when baking them to be sure not to melt em. After 5 minutes pull them out and pry apart, you may have to coax them with a screwdriver in the seam, sometimes not..

reassembly is backwards of assembly, bake again, and press together till its cool.
