D15B swap 'bogging'
Hello, me and a couple of friends just finished a JDM D15B swap. The engine is not throwing any codes, which is good. But everytime I try to shift to the next gear, the car feels like it's 'bogging'. I dont know why, please help.
could be, I have a d15b in my car now. Before i did the maps I was running the d16a6 maps and my mileage sucked and my power wasn't there. Now that i've got the pm6 maps cut back about 20% my mileage is unbelievable and when I go over 3500 rpms my power is impressive. May want to check out that seal, no gas should get out at all. If your new seal keeps leaking then youre looking at a new injector as far as i can tell

Im stupid when it comes to engine work. My friend did my swap for me. But where is the fuel map at? And how do I redo it?

How do you go about re-doing the fuel maps? I got an 88 crx with the JDM D15b swap and im going through the same thing. Not all the time but on occasion my car will bog either alot or a little bit when shifting, also I have this feeling my acceleration could be alot better.

How did you fix the problem? I had the problem a few weeks ago, the car was bogging bad and then it died on my on the highway. When I got it home I replaced the ignitor and it has been running fine until yesterday, now it is back to bogging back again. I've had the swap for about two years and have replaced the ignitor three times, and the wires, cap, rotor about six months ago. the plugs were last replaced two weeks ago when I changed the ignitor. Any other ideas?
