Best shocks/struts for a DA within $250-$300 budget
Hi guys,
The suspension in my DA is a little soft and I'd like to fix that issue soon. I've been looking around for replacement shocks/struts and I've been finding a lot of good names for decent prices. So far I've seen KYB GR2s, Tokicos, and a couple of other good name brands I can't think of now. What will give me the best balance of ride and comfort? This is for a daily driver and my city has some rough streets, so I'd like it to ride smoothly, but still have positive feel around corners.
What are your suggestinons? Thanks

Ok, so a no-go on the Tokico blues, got it. I don't really need anything adjustable, not that it hurts to have the option.
What is everyones opinions on KYBs/other alternatives?

kyb's are good, but they dont make the rear's for our cars (da's) so you'd have to use ?88-91? civic/crx rear's.. but at the same note, i dont feel comfortable about puting something suspension wise on my car that wasnt made for it.. u know?

That's what bothered me about the AGX's... I have GR-2s and they are pretty much an OEM replacement. I installed them with coilovers, so I am not sure if they will stiffen the suspension by themselves cuz I've never felt it. The GR-2's will fall in your budget, but I would say your better off waiting a little longer and spending a little more.

i have seen AGX for DA front & rear online. i think the Illuminas are a good bang for the buck [got mine on ebay, too for <$400]. adjustable is good so you can stiffen the rear, this helps the car rotate better.
