Default Picture Request...

I am in desperate need of some ITR exhaust pictures taken from underneath the ITR. I Specifically need pictures of where the axel back pipe travels over the LCA and the two hangers welded to the under carriage on the rear of the ITR. I need any pictures weather it be stock exhaust or aftermarket.

a bit dark but at a different angle, you could get an idea of the room between the lca and the pipe

Thanks a lot. Any other pictures would be greatly appreciated. Does anyone with an Apex-i N1 have similar pictures?

Has anyone had any problem with the Apex-i N1 Exhaust hitting the LCA?

ok as far as i can see, your front part is ok. but the 2 rear hangers, 9the one that holds the nuffler up) is too low and in the wrong locations.

the two rears.

the front part.
btw if anyone else can help, he has a apex n1 but since the hangers are different the pipe hangs low.

in imo, either re-place the brackets with oem on the oem locations or modify your current ones. cut and raise up the brackets.
heres a pic of mine in the stock locations.

btw on this shot, you could tell were the stock one was.

Here’s some history: I recently purchased my pride and joy from an out of state dealer about three weeks ago. I purchased the car knowing that there were a few things that had to be fixed. I can only assume that the previous owner did not know much about cars and decided to allow people of the same education to install the sub-par “Performance upgrades” he choose. The current problem I am dealing with is the exhaust system. The old exhaust consisted of the stock ITR header, Stock catalytic converter, the stock ITR B-pipe, and the axel back portion which was hacked off right before it hit the stock ITR muffler where a “fart pipe” was welded on. I use the term “fart pipe” because the muffler was some junk piece, which you could find at any cheap automotive parts store. They then used two universal hangers to mount the exhaust. You can find these hangers at any automotive parts store (the adjustable metal and rubber hangers that rotate 360 degrees). After they completely cut off one of the stock hangers and cut off half of the other stock hanger they proceeded to weld the universal hangers on the “fart pipe” and attempt to weld the universal hangers to the car. Obviously my first thing to fix would have to be the exhaust. I got the car home and opted to order the Apex-I N1 exhaust a week later. After another week I received the exhaust and took my ITR to a fabrication shop that was recommended to me. When I picked up my ITR I did not notice any rattling or funny sounds in fact it sounded great. I got my ITR home about 20 minuets away from the shop and heard a rattling sound so I immediately looked under the car and noticed the axel back section was hitting the LCR and there is almost no clearance between the LCR and part of the axel back pipe. I did some calling around and got various opinions and have narrowed it down to the stock hanger location as one of the problems. Until I fix this problem it is hard to tell if I have any others but it seems that this is the major problem as you can tell by viewing the pictures previously posted. Thanks to esponet for the quick reply and the pictures that shed some much needed light on my problem since I did not have a stock ITR or Integra to compare mine too. Sorry for the long post and for anyone interested I will keep you updated. Thanks again.
