Default DA rear disc swap??? bushing?

I purchased a 93 rear disc swap from an integra. It came with everything including the shocks/struts.

I wanted to get new trailing arm bushings for it but somebody told me that they fit funny. I had to get crx bushings but then pull out an extra sleeve from integra trailing arm and have it pressed in??? Never heard any of this before? Is this true? Should i just use my crx trailing arm and try to swap over discs?

I just torched out the old rubber part of the bushing, then cut the actual metal sleeve part with a hack saw and then it came right out. After that I installed the engery suspension bushings. If I was gonna do it again, I would probally go prothane, but the prothane bushings were not available at the time I did my car.

Good link eda6 hb, i guess my brain wasnt working when i tried searching....

So I'm thinking about keep my stock trailing arms and not replacing the bushings. Just swapping over all the integra discs / etc.

I have dx brakes, but i want to upgrade to the integra ones in my garage.

You can get new ones from Acura, or you can use mugen or oem EF ones if you first press them into the DA bushing sleeves.

There's a huge thread over at http://www.g2ic.com about this topic, and Its been linked to in a handful of threads here on h-t as well. Some searches will yeild all the info you need.

And I have heard that you can just swap the integra brakes onto the ef trailing arms, but thats just what I've "heard" I haven't done it so I can't say for sure.

yes.

Integra arms use larger bushings then Crx ones. Honda does sell them just you need to find the part number. Honda around here are ******.

Your the one with all the name changes.

I read that the ES bushings were no good for trailing arm and rubber oem replacement or mugen should be used?
