At work today I saw an 04 S come in with a blown engine. Little had I known that the reason it was toast was that the driver drove the poor thing through I don't know how deep of water. This S had 7K miles on it and was stock. Because of the amount of water damage the thing threw a rod right through the side of the block. It was a sad site. And what is even worse is that I guess the car is getting traded in for another 04 on the lot. Why? You already have to pay your insurance deductible why not just keep it? Over 10K in damages. Including carpeting inside the car.

 

Stupid drivers don't deserve to breath, let alone own an S!

 

did it have a CAI?

I wonder because the stock intake pulls from near the top of the bumper. this guy would have to be a major retard.

No it was stock. Nothing done to it. She drove so far into the water that it some how blew the rod straight through the block. Sad.
