higher mileage=bad thing?
i have about 147k miles on my 91 teg and it's still running as strong as ever. I have replaced all the bolt on parts including both manifolds and also have cams, valve springs and retainers. Does this somewhat "lower the mileage" on the car because they are new parts?
Also, post how many miles you have on your cars and what precautions to take when the miles get high, like should i do a compression test or anything like that?
thanks

i had my 1992 acura integra gsr b17a with 167k on it and i was boosting 10psi everyday for 6months and it finaly gave out. the only reason it went is because i over reved it and blew the headgasket and bent the values. the motor was strong as hell i had a presion sc34 on there and it ran a 8.3@85mph in the 1/8th. i did a compression test on it before i took it apart and it was 160psi on 3 cylinders and 120 on cylinder 2 from the bent values. so its all taken apart and im doing a build on it...
****, my '95 teg has 195,000 on the engine, and i'm now shooting nitrous on it. i have gone through one bottle so far, and have compression #'s of 170 across the board. honda rulz.
oh yea and before i was on boost i had a 75shot of nitirous on there for the other 6 months.. had the teg a year.. i bought it with 135k on it... hondas are the ****
