I have a 99 silver gs 5spd. I modded it a little, but it was still too slow. Now, I have plans to go FI. If you think your gonna want speed and heavy mods are out of the question, go with a gsr otherwise you'll love the GS.

I had my ride for 5 years now and it's been great. I still haven't got over the super nice interior and the very pratical silver color. You can go weeks without washing it, but yet it will still stand out. It's fun to drive, handles great, but just a little lacking in the speed department especially considering what's out there now.

good luck

I got my 99 LS 2 door Integra for $8k. 59k Miles. I had to get some body work done though. *cost me $650 from a hookup*

Your paying for a dealership price. It looks really clean. I suggest offering maybe 11? Maybe even less. The plus about buying from dealership is that it comes with warranty. (I hope)

Things to take into consideration:

Plans for the car. Mods? Engine build up? FI? N/A? daily driver? Leather Necessary? stuff like that.

If you plan on modding the car i suggest going LS and getting turbo. You don't really need leather if your a racer and get like bucket seats.

You could also get a GS-R and build up your engine.

Or you could be luxurious and keep your GS stock and enjoy.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions. Don't rush, do research.

today, today is sunday, tomorrow, tomorrow is monday. he has to decide by tomorrow. SO you obviously like the car, and you like the options it has, go for it, integras hold a good resale value if your plans change, id say go for it

wow, that car is really clean and well maintained too ( I can tell by the brake fluid). That's really cool that the dealer let you keep the car for a few days. If you like it, get it.

Yeah I want it, but I will be strapped on my money because my insurance is going to be like 400 or so which sucks... payments arent that bad, just 200, but thats 600 a month which is all my money... so. I hope they could come down to 9k :-D hahaha then I'd be happy. Ill let you guys know tomorrow, see if my haggling skills work. I mean, I want a quick car, from what I hear the GS isnt quick?

modding a gs is beneficial, especially if you go with a snail. You'll be happy man, don't sweat it too much. Plus you're already worried about insurance, it's gonna be a considerably more with a GSaaRRR

if money is an issue, then buy an older LS, and when you get money turbo it.

gs is like an LS with a few more features.(aesthetics) the engine is the same. what i mean by no rush is that their are many integras out there. and if your don't buy this gs tomorrow, i doubt the dealer will sell it on tuesday. thats what i meant by take your time. gs-r's are faster than a gs or an ls. turbo is better for non vtec cars like the LS and GS engine. GSRs have v-tech and usually made faster by building up the engine. this is called going NA. (naturally aspirated) If you go turbo/supercharger its called FI. (force induction)

may i suggest....
considering your are strapped for money...
buy an LS. who gives about leather? you can get LS with sunroof. you can get your sideskirts to match your body? gs-r's are nice but they initially cost more. *insurance too* LS's are quick enough. A good turbo kit with accesories will cost you around 3k. But you can still make your car faster with like an intake/exhaust. You won't want to buy an aftermarket header if your going turbo. It's a complete waste of money. But yeah, LS sounds good for you for now. You might be fine with the speed a stock LS brings. Then you don't have to worry about maintaining turbo. I'm getting tired... goodnight and goodluck

that price is too high!!! and isnt that illegal to let a car dealer give u a car without selling it? what if you had an accident who will be liable for the car? not saying you will have one but thats my thoughts
