Default 91 civic overheating from the head? but no oil coming out by discruper

I have a 1991 civic SI its all stock D16. The car is overheating and anitfreeze is coming out of the head by the discruper(sorry i dont no how to spell that word if its right or not) There is no oil leaking. I wanna know if it could be my water pump or could it be my head gasket? thanks for the help

it could be many things, you could have air in the coolant, bad radiator, bad water pump, wrong headgasket, or others.....but those are the main prolblems

The day before it started i also filled up my raditor with anitfreeze and the reserve was filled do you think it had to much pressure, and if it did what could that do damage wise? thanks

sounds like your headgasket.....

does white smoke coming out...

usually when coolant and oil comes out between the block and head ... it means you blew your headgasket...

no white smoke comes out and no oil is leaking. It is leaking anitfreeze right under the disctuper. If it was my waterpump, wouldnt it be leaking by the water pump or does that not affect it?

Yeah - forget this Honda-Tech place.
Shut the Honda-Tech website down and everyone just go to a mechanic for daignosis and repair.

GOSH i offended one ..besides i never said shut H-T down... IT ALWAYS OKAY to get your resources down and second opinion from a professional... you are taking my recommendation to a BS .... dont get me wrong i love doing my mechanics.. but when its something this serious its wise to go H-T for resources and if you still cant figure it out... i will get a second opinion and a diagnosis from a professional...

my 2 cents

PS hey i got the wiring harness ...thx

i was told that overnight cold the tank should be empty and after driving it a while (normal opterating temp.) it should be 1/2 to 3/4 full. this is because the presure bulds and pushes excess out to the tank. when it cools down expason goes away and it sucks the extra coolent back in the system.
