ok, i got an 01 saturday and it has a wierd vibration when accelerating and letting off gas with it still in gear. the clutch pedal vibrates bad! Motor mount? bearing in rear of tranny?.......

i heard of some recalls (safety bulletin) about top latches, rear lights, clutch, and seat belts.... i wonder if it could be the clutch.. hell i dont know..

input please!!!

 

where'd you buy it from? Did you test drive it before you bought it? Any extended warranty with it?

If it's only doing it while it's in gear, sounds like something in the drivetrain. How many miles on it?

Service Bulletin 00-054: Buzzing From the Engine or Transmission While Decelerating


While decelerating in 3rd or 2nd gear, a buzzing or rattling comes from the engine or transmission between 4,000 and 3,000 rpm. This noise sounds similar to a heat shield rattle, and it goes away if you press lightly on the accelerator pedal or disengage the clutch.

found it! its from a recalled clutch disk!.... gear backlash ect.

its an 01 31kmiles. im gonna work on getting some goodwill work done on it from honda...
