uhhh, why does it matter.....just get custom rods and pistons made to correct the r/s ratio
just get longer rods with pistons with raised wrist pins and viola! higher revving engine
and yes this has a lot to do with revability "miller". I was just stating a simple fact that you can make the engine reva little more reliably and create a higher revving engine.
I have only seen a k24 rev to 7100 myself but it would be nice to see one with a k20-r head on it and revving high...that would be nice

uhhhh, that was no help at all....why dont you go hang out in the cosmetic forum where you can pass off your BS to people who dont know **** or go read another book, and you will realize that the r/s ratio isnt everything......Miller

The original k24 block/k20 head project motor saw 8000+ rpm multiple times for over a year. It never came apart. Maybe it was luck?

With 250+ WHP on a R head, why bother revving the snot out of it? Yes, I realize I didn't answer the question, just another thought on the subject. On a side note, I know Jack from P1 Auto has put together a K24 block with a K20 head with some decent results.

That was probly in the TSX racecar.
I think you are going to have to drop that 99mm crank to rev that thing any higher.
