Default B18C Header to Catalytic Converter

On the B18C header going into the catalytic converter, it doesn't quite fit. Do I have to get some sort of a customer catalytic converter?

just get a 2.5" carsound cat...

i don't think any oem converters will fit between your header and exhaust...

That will bolt right in? Thinking that I have to get a custom cat, will that fit the DC JDM 4-1 header? This way, I will only have to do it once.

just get the 2.5" cat and make sure it has the o2 bung!

you're gonna have to take it to a muffler shop to have the flanges welded on.
unless you know how to weld...

i used the stock gsr cat in my EG hatch, but welded about 4" of extension pipe to the back-end of the cat so that it would bolt up to my exhaust... i didn't care too much about welding straight on to the cat because i'm going turbo in about a year... i'll ditch the gsr cat for a 3" carsound and ditch the exhaust for a 3" turbo exhaust...

I have a JDM 4-1 header (2.5" collector) on my '89 hatch and the distance between the collector and the catback flange is 15"

Midas adn Meinike both are brushing me off. Refusing to do it.

I ended up doing this on my 93EX w/ 94 B18C, JDM DC Sports ITR 4-1 Header, Apexi N1 exhaust.

1. Cat from Landspeed Racing - Powercore Competition Street Catalytic Converter (SKU: 09-PC-SC9401INT18J) Applications:94-01 Acura Integra JDM
Notes: (18" w/o2) JDM style Headers 2.5" collector
2. Exhaust Gasket (Header to Cat) from Honda S2000 (~$35 from dealer, ~25 from Majestic Honda w/o shipping, Honda P/N 18229-PCX-003)
3. 2, 8mm bolts of 80mm length
4. 4 washers (one on head side, one on nut side, so 2 per bolt)
5. 2 8mm nuts
6. Drain plug from NAPA to cap the 02 on the cat, NAPA P/N: 704-1037

That's it. No need to have anything specially fabricated. Also, don't forget to get the gasket on the header to block side.
