I couldn't take off the intermidate shaft becuase it felt like the bolts were going to snap, so I left it on. The tranny kind of "fell off" the motor (controlled fall), and now I can't get the new one on.

There isn't enough clearance between the crossmember and the tranny diff casing. Any quick ideas?

Pull the whole motor is not an option. No cherry picker.

I need to get the intermidate shaft into the diff first, because it sticks out.
