i have a ? can i use skunk 2 coilovers on stock struts or will i need to buy aftermarket ? and also i am new to honda tech

can you, yes. would it be smart to, no. you will blow out your stock shocks really quick. and BTW, koni reds, tokico blues, and KYB GR2's are not much better than stock, and wont handle the coilovers much better

 

you CAN use em on stock struts but you will want to save a lil money and time by getting aftermarket more aggressive struts to go with em in the first place. itll save you some hassle down the road, and also ur ride will be a lot better

for sleeve type, the only other (and its by far the best) is the Ground Control coilover, made with Eibach springs

 

if you wanna go all out on some TRUE coilovers...go for some TEIN's...they make QUITE quality sheeit. but skunk2 is def also damn good, so hell, just couple em with some good struts and ur good to go.
