#1....is the acura optional exterior perfromance package the same as the type r???....and

#2.....does the new rsx come in the same color as the Type R???

If your talking about the A-spec package, I'm pretty sure the wing is like the ITR and the side skirts are probably pretty close but I'm not sure front and rear lip look jdm...


Also I think the jdm type Rs only come in championship white, and I don't think we get that color here (I may be wrong)... We do get some kinda white though..

the Type-R also came in that one Blue and Nighthawk Black Pearl, and those two colors are the same. The white is the only color that is different.

The wing is the same, the sides differ slightly, but the front lip is not even close.

umm a-spec is totally not worth the price.

 

more like 27-28k range for a 04 a-spec. better off grabbing a type-s and buying the parts seperate from a place other than a dealership.

 

LOL, anybody who buys that exterior package is a DUMMY! 26K(US)+ for an RSX type S? wow I like Hondas and all but for 26K I'd look elsewhere.

a-spec is way not worth the price, you can get a wing for cheaper and side skirts and aprons for a lot less than you think

 

this ain't a ferrari we are talking about, nobody would give a **** about it in 10 years.

 

the oem optional kit is NOT the same as the type r kit. front , rear lip and skirts are different. as for the a spec , it has the oem optional kit, and an itr wing. hope this helps

 

The Type R also comes in Milano Red.

The A Spec package, includes USDM 17s, a lower suspension (~1inch), a spoiler exactly like the Type R, and the USDM bodykit. It does not have the most crucial element though, the 220ps, 4.764 final drive, LSD equipped engine and tranny.
