Brothers, 5 years from now....
Brothers.....I know noone has a definite answer, but you still think 5 years down the road, modding and fixing up integras will still be around? Im 20 years old right now, I can't really put turbo in my Ls, or go LS-vtec, or do other expensive mods because i go to school and all, and i have a part-time job, but that pays for bills n books n all....but i try to save a lil here n there, but i never have enough to get big modifications.....I see other ppl with fixed up rides that are fast n look good n stuff, i feel like im missing out, and i cant wait till im finished with college in about 3 years when ill be making decent bucks, but im jus afraid that it mite die out....So what im really tryna ask, you guys think 4-5 years down the road well still be fixin up integras and postin stuff on honda-tech like "my integra won't start"? or "Whats better, LS or GSR"?
yea Im sure people still will. But w/ cars like the srt-4 coming out w/ 20 grand price tags and a bottom end that fairly indestructable (my buddy 500 insane whp srt-4) you never know.
considering that people with 1st and 2nd gen integras are still posting here, there is no reason for a 2nd or 3rd gen owner to not keep posting questions.
<--off the go test drive an EP, and maybe i'll be posting questions about an EP3 when the warranty runs out. hehe

i think ppl will still b fixing up cars. I mean ppl w/ 2nd gen integs r still posin stuff... and those cars are like 10 yrs old. I know that i'm gonna keep my 98 gsr for a really long time.
And i'm also a college student.... bills and tuition suck ***!!!

Its not the age of the car that matters, the question will PEOPLE still be modifing imports.. the answer is, probably, but not as much as we are right now I dont think. The past few years the import "scene" (god I hate that word) has died considerably, I read an article a few weeks ago talking about this, and they interviewed some spokespeople at major import parts suppliers, and they were talking about how the whole import culture is fad related and different fads and trends come and go so quick.
I personally don't care if it is a fad. I have had my GS-R since it was driven off of the showroom floor in 1997. The Integra is simply a fun car. I'm glad that it is currently a car of choice, because it make obtaining decent aftermarket parts a bit easier.
