Hi I am new to the Board.
I dont know too much about Integras except I love the way they look.

My buddy just bought a 96 RS (says RS inside the door near the paint code) He has Intake, exhaust, DC headers and nto sure what else. He also has 17's and is lowered nopt sure what springs or coilovers he is using.

My question is what will it take for him to give me a run for my money. I have a 94 Mazda MX6 V6 with intake,exhaust, electrical sysytem done and timeing redone, and an excedy stage 1 clutch. I havent made it to the track yet, but the last Acura I raced was an ITR and at the end of 3rd my front was at his door.

So what will it take to make him have a low 15 second car.

 

um stock gsrs are right around a low 15 second car. depends on the driver really.

 

umm I never said GSR

I have driven the car and it isn't a low 15 second car, I would say low to mid 16 from how it felt. It isn't a V-TEC engine which the GSR is. neways. if someone can actually help that would be great.

 

For one thing, those 17" rims r heavy, so he might want to take those off to lighten his car up a bit... hehe. And since he has his basic bolt ons done.... some engine work will probably next. I'm not sure wat kind of set up he wants to do w/ his engine.

 

I think he wants to be about as fast as his 1st Gen talon, maybe a bit quicker, but not lose his cars looks. I dont think he wants another turbo car.
