Default what are the negatives on relocating the stock jdm itr ballast?

Ok i coulnd not fugure it to relocate the abs and just relocated the ballast on the jdm itr headlight. (figured out by searching archives)

But it never said anything on what are the negatives on relocating the ballast and having the line wrapped around a steel braided line exposed. So what can happen? Can that wire ground something? Can moisture get in side the headlight?
I don't know?

And is there anything that i can do, so nothing bad could happen to the headlight?

thanks

exposed wires? if you do not know what the downsides to that could *possibly* be, then perhaps you should leave good enough alone...

I just checked on this. I don't think you need to relocate in 98+ ITR's. It should fit. I'll know for sure on Sunday.
