would that be for a stock set up ? and if so i really do not think that is worth the amount of money that you would spend on it ! but if you fill like having mugen products in your car more power to you

I have had the Mugen ecu in my car for 3 years and have been very happy with it. The prices you got are correct. I purchase Mugen parts from King Motorsports although I know there are some other unauthorized dealers of such that will sell for less.

The valve springs themselves do not add horsepower. They do reduce the chance of valve float though with the higher rev limit of the Mugen ECU. I have not yet purchased the valve springs but have never had any problems. I do recommend them though.
I estimate 30-40 hp increase with the Mugen ECU if you have exhaust and air intake upgrades. I also have a homemade test pipe.

i think the Mugen ECU is definitely worth it. It just depends on what you want to do with it.

Well if you want to get 30-40 whp from it then yuyup....it'll be worth every penny...haha...

but seriously though, the RTR guys used it for their DC2-Rs so it must work to some degree!

If you are running stock cams, it's not worth it to purchase the Mugen valve springs. Or ANY valve springs for that matter.
Bottom line is, stock cams make peak power around 7800-8000. That means you only have to shift at like 8500 or so.
Revving it any higher than that is senseless because it won't get you anywhere.

Stiffer valve springs cause parasitic drag on the motor. This equals less power because the motor has to work harder to push the valves open.

Now with bigger cams, valve springs are recommended.. but for ITR cams.. no.
