Default AEM short ram

i just install my AEM short ram intake ......it said drain 1 gallon of coolant from the cooling system. should i do this?

well I didnt do it ..cuz my reserve is already empty.
Should i buy a coolant to fill my reserve????

WOW its amazing the whistle sound on the start of the car. sounds like a supercharger.
you can feel the growl of the engine at 3000-4500. its awesome.
i might say 2-4HP ...but iam happy withthe sound.

and i think I reset my ECU...
plugging the negative from the battery and after i am done installing the ram just idle the car for 10 min and turn it off and boom its all ready.

now i am feeling on not getting a loud cat back.
tell me what you think moderate cat back that can give me HP and moderate sound...just perfect sound for my AEM intake.

ive never myself followed their instruction on draining the coolant, but if you feel its the right thing to do, go ahead, but as far as resetting the ECU, all you did was reconnect the negative terminal, run it for ten minutes and then turn the car off, i didnt know that? interesting, i didnt know it was that easy...but yea, good luck, i like the sound of the whistle, when i got my short ram i heard the same thing, its cool, the Cold Air Intake i have doesnt make the same sound but yea, supposedly gives you more power!

AEM's instructions are detailed, but arently always clear....Apexi WS, Greddy SP, or Thermal R&D

thermal R&D is actually kind of a loud exhaust.... its not the loudest, but its def louder than an apexi WS... but it sounds DAMN GOOD!
