gee, i dont know, maybe because of the big *** brakes on a type r? maybe because u can get a whole ITR suspension for LESS THAN a big brake upgrade? maybe because the 5x114.3 lug pattern has a HUGE amount of wheels with many different offsets that arent made for 4x100 patterns?

or maybe cause hes a ricer and thinks "ive got 5 lug, im mad cool"

either way, its been done a few times, dont have any links, but i know its been done, its just not easy

then you also have a suspension settup that is made for a car a **** load heavier than your car. Honda spenda a long time and alot of money making sure those suspensions are just so for the car thier putting it on. swaping out the whole suspension would probley hurt performance. correct me if im wrong thats just what seems logical to me.

ok, youre wrong. bigger brakes, lighter suspension parts, and better springs and shock (even if u use stock) will NEVER hurt performance. an ITR 5 lug suspension will make the car stop like crazy and mas mounts for sway bars EFs could only dream of. if you have the money, 5 lug is worth it.

Not exactly.

The 5 lug setup on here has been covered many times, with pro's and con's. The srping rates on the stock type R suspension are perfectly tuned for a car that is roughly 2700 lbs. Our cars comming in 700 lbs. less will throw this "pr\erfectly tuned" suspension out of whack.

Stopping power isn't that much better than just getting 4 wheel discs on a EF and throwing in a bigger Brake Booster. if youw ant good stopping power, just get Rear disc swap, and through Brembo Blanks, and Hawk Callipers, with some SS brake lines.

Wheel assortment isn't great for 5 lug. there are some awesome wheels made for the 5 lug that weren't orgionally made for a 4x100, Rota is now changing that. Knock offs are easy to get in every size.

5 lug to me didn't seem worth it after i was about to do it on my car. almost 1 grand to do the sap, there is a write up on here, just search.

you pretty much answered my question too. I was wondering if the booster needed to be changed.

then don't forget the issue with the axles. the type-r axles have a much larger input shaft, you'd need to swap the cv joints with your stock axles.

Why even swap disc-drum? thats pretty much looks. Whats it 80% of the braking force is done on your front brakes. Upgrade the current front brakes and leave the rear brakes as drums. I've also heard that drum brakes are better than disc the only down fall of drums are the fact that they hold the heat in unlike disc brakes.

^unless of course you are drifing around every corner then I would say get disc brakes.

If I were you I would do the 5-lug swap much better products than knock offs.
