Default What would a 1986 crx Si cost?

I saw a 1986 crx today and just wanted opinion from you guys.
It is in fair condition. The motor is smooth at idle and revs smoothly. But one thing that worries me is the thermostat which is about 1/4 the way before it hits the H. I am sure it is not a faulty meter because when I turn off the engine the needle goes all the way down. What can this be? The guy wants 1600 for the car and it has 197500+ miles on it. I went to kelly blue book and the said the car is worth 1300. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

hahahahahha i could find a 86 crx for under $900 man for that many miles...just gotta look in the right places. if ur planning on an engine swap the miles don't even matter just make sure the body is in good shape. keep searching good luck

About the temp gauge goin to high I had that problem too for a while until I checked the radiator and found that I need some coolant in there. Check that out after i put in some it went to about the bottom 1/4 and hasnt returned to the top for a while.

$1000 was the most that I would pay, too. As for adding coolant to the radiator, I noticed a antifreeze coolant in the crx when i was test driving it. So I was thinking that it might be a faulty radiator or thermostat.

damn that is cheap. With the good interior and exterior for 150 you could buy a really good used motor for it and have a great running car.
