For all you running dohc motors...what intake piping are you using?
I just did a LS/vtec swap into my car...but I don't know whether to get an intake made for my 94 coupe, or for a gsr cuz if im not mistaken, the new tb is much bigger than my old DX tb. Does anyone know if the bends are simular, or does it not matter on the motor, but on the application to which it is going to be installed on?
search!!!
everytime you have and urge to hit new topic take your hands away from the mouse and think, "i wonder if someone has posted this before", just do it b/c 95% of what you want to ask has been covered!

No, do NOT get one for a GS-R unless you're running the GS-R intake manifold, which is doubtful. The GS-R intakes will not mate up worth a **** to any LS, B16A, Type R, or any other aftermarket "Type R style" manifolds.
I'm running a 99-00 Civic Si coupe AEM CAI on my B18C5 and my engine makes as good or better power than other Type Rs with similiar mods.
It routes just as a stock small-*** AEM for the SOHC would, but it's big enough for your LS/VTEC:

I just flat-blacked mine to give it a more stealthy look to it.

What the ****? Why would you say that?
Look at my picture, then look at the one with the blue Iceman GS-R intake.
See how kinked up the GS-R intake is at the throttle body?
THE GS-R COLD AIR INTAKES DO NOT FIT WORTH A **** ON ANY B SERIES ENGINE WITH AN LS, B16A, TYPE R, OR ANY OTHER TYPE R-LIKE AFTERMARKET INTAKE MANIFOLD SUCH AS SKUNK2, JG, ETC.!!!
What part of that makes it "easier" for the GS-R one to fit to you? Did you not even read any replies in this topic?
I swear I must be taking crazy pills!!!

Why?
The LS will be too small in diameter.
The Type R is a good 3'', but it also requires relocating your factory coolant overflow tank and you must drill and tap your framerail to mount the rubber sleeved screw/bolt that holds the intake arm still.
Who's next?

Now in THAT case you'll need an intake made for the GS-R, because you have the GS-R intake manifold.

the guy running the GSR intake on the skunk manifold might of forgetting that this guy is asking about an intake to fit his CIVIC not his Integra which yours is pictured in.
