Boosted R in need of an oil cooler advice
I have a 2000 R that has the drag kit on it. I am interested in getting an oil cooler for it. I have seen new kits from $125 to $700. What opinions do you all have? I just do solo 2 for now but want to road race some day. I have also seen you guys talk about over cooling the oil. What can happen if this occurs and how do you prevent it?

There have been several posts lately regarding oil coolers both in this forum and the road race/autox forum.
And you are a trial user because you just signed up. You cannot post in seveal forums or send IM's until you become a regular user, which happens in a couple weeks or so. This keeps trolls to a minimum.
Happy hunting.
Edit: if you still are lacking information, IM me when your trial period is over, or email me. I have a boosted R with an aftermarket cooler.

Oil cooler would be a good idea, don't go real cheap and there's no need to bust the bank.
Install an oil temp gauge with a probe in the pan to see the results and keep an eye on things.
