Default stock b20 vtec..what is the most hp anobody has gotten

i jus want to no how much u can get out of it because i have a friend with a b20z and b16 head on top of it, fuel is at 40 at idle and a type r manifold,gsr cams,flywheel,intake,arp head bolts,apex n1,cheap 4-1 headers,p28 chipped. it was put together in his garage and has not been tuned yet,but went on the dyno once and put out 193hp which is good but can u emagine cam gears then some tunning.

please tell me wat u think,and wat is your setup soo i can tell him

Thats good for that setup.. usually they put down 150-175 with that seup.. at least around here

he is in a dx coupe full interior and was on falken zenies which is not great for the track really also shifting at 8 with gsr tranny did 13.8....i know he can do better because he was not use to the motor yet plus the traction problem the zzz gives off which is a wonderful thing when u coming frome b16 gap spec

he hp was 193
tq was 139-140

13.8 with that much power ? hehehe...j/p

What program is on the p28 ? custom or a 'name brand' ?

b16 STOCK head
toda b's
toda header
chipped p28
aem itr intake manifold
ITR intake manifold
spoon tbody
pistons notched for valves....

187 and 143 on a dynapac dyno....

stock block with notched pistons
stock head with ITR cams/intake manafold/throttle body
ADJ FPR
AEM Cold Air intake
Custom 2.25" exhaust w/ cat
stock OBD-1 PR3 ECU

DynoJet Dyno at ~90 degrees


My next build is going to be a B18B block with P30 pistons with same head setup just to compare #'s


#'s really dont mean much. Air temp, humidity, elevation, what type of dyno, what type of correction factor etc etc.

Used for nothing more then "reference point"

We are doing the B18B next year with the P30's to compare #'s

stock b16a head, gsr cams, usdm itr header, stock exhaust, and stock itr airbox
