hey guys as you can see im new to this forum and i need some help.i picked up the latest issue of autotrader and i found this 1988 crx for sale.heres what the ad says: 1988 honda crx,si body,eng. and trans.frame damaged,good for parts,$500 for body,eng. is vtec 1.6L vtec swap,bored,60k mi.,5sp trans,engine and trans $700,whole car $1000.how do you think i should offer?keep in mind im only 15.this looks like a good first car it just need a little bit of work.if i get it im gonna swap in a h22 or b16 and go turbo but i need some opinions first.any help would be appreciated

 

the frame is damaged. not a good first car. good parts car though. if you had a CRX already i would say go for it and steal the motor and other parts and then part out the rest of the things you dont want.

 

DO NOT buy the car to drive, it has frame damage therefore it is no good.

yep i might just buy the whole car then and keep the swap for myself if i get a civic or crx or something.they shouldve traded kobe hes going to jail anyways.
