Can someone explain exactly how I do this?

I have read this is how: "run a copper wire thats supplied w/ the unit to the ignition colomn and wrap the wire around the ignition cylinder. Connect to the (-) output when armed so that no one can steal your car because you just grounded it, if you used (-) when armed the only time the car can remote start is when you want it to. Some people just put power and ground to the unit, when you do this your immobilizer is bypass ALL of the time not just when you want to remote start it."
