How much would you pay for a mint CRX?
How much would you pay for a pretty much mint CRX si? No major mods, all stock body and motor.
I'm not selling one, I just feel like they are getting harder to find and people are willing to spend more these days. I picked up my 88 Si 3 years ago, and it was completely stock and as close to mint as I have seen a crx... and only paid $1800. When my friend rearended me, I got a nice check for $2450. In 3 years the car never needed work done, so I broke even after registration and inspections and stuff (minus mods which I can still remove). Now I'm looking for a new crx, and am about to spend $3500. I have found two crxs in really good shape, and both are in the $4000 range, and mostly stock.

depends on where you live. I live in the south so a mint one is easy to find for $2000. But i know up north its harder to find one due to rusty rear quarters from snow and salt.
wtf is up with everyone salting roads? we don't salt them here and have winter 8 months outta the year.
gravel is your friend!
my crx has been in alaska its whole life and has only slight hints of rust near the sunroof, thats it.

are you talking about low miles, mint everything, stock everything? no wear and tear? I would probably pay around 4-5K for mine depending on color and what trim it was.
I picked my CRX up for 2500 and it was in excellent condition. Completely stock just has a few burn holes and full interior

my gf just got one for 3800 that was as near perfect as i have ever seen one. it was untouched, and came with the center armrest, louvers, and some 13" alloys.
The crx i am hopefully picking up is a 91 Si, white. Mostly stock except rotas w/ pirellis, koni yellows, front and rear strut and sway bars, strainless brake lines, upgraded pads, aem intake, short shifter, momo wheel and shift ****, rps turbo clutch, recently replaced timing belt, water pump, cam & crank seals, a/c system replaced last summer, new ignitor, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, etc etc. It DOES have 180k, but all the maintenace stuff was done within 12k miles, and all the mods were done in the past 3 years.
Im pretty excited about the car, but never thought I would pay $3500 for a crx with stock engine. I almost bought another crx a few months back... pretty much mint, white, ww kit, cf hood, b16, etc for $4500... but that car was no where near "stock."
My crx was totaled, which is why Im buying a new car. The other day I checked out a 94 GSR w/ b18c5... the car was a piece of crap, but I felt like the car had nooo power at all. I swear my stock crx could have beaten it. I dont know what was up? Plus it handled like ***. After that experience, I realized I really wanted another crx
