I am putting in a new head unit and haynes manual tells me to disable Airbag. The directions stink, can anyone give me more details on what to unpluig and what to plug?

umm im pretty sure you dont have to disable the air bag for a cd player install...at least i didnt...i think the haynes only says to disable the air bag if your working anywhere near it...in your case your not really working around it

 

unplug the battery, thats enough

 

u DONT NEED TO UNPLUG THE AIRBAG.. dONE IT TOO MANY TIMES

 

haynes tells u to unplug the airbag for anything u do in the damn car!!! unless ur messing with the streering wheel... just leave it
