Is your fan working? Thats a good place to start. May want to change your water pump as well.

Im going to have to go with your thermostat is stuck open, so that you are constantly running coolant through your system. in tern this means that your coolant is slowly (30 minutes) heating up to extreme unsafe temps. When your driving, you have lots of air blowing on your radiator, which in tern slightly will make you coolant "colder" this means, you need a new thermostat. just upgrade to a mugen thermostat and fan thermo switch. im going to bet this is your problem. check it out, gaurenteed im right, at least it hink i am.

Before you guarantee you think you are right I will say I live in the desert where temperatures will reach well into the 100s. When my thermo stuck open it never ever caused a problem with over heating(especially not after a half an hour of driving like stated by this person, maybe after a few hours with no air flow to cool, this could happen). Of course it sucked during the winter when temps will get into single digits. Heater sucked *** LOL. How the heck much does a mugen thermostat cost? My guess is it's probably more than any other one and you get the same freakin thing.
But like I sais before check your fan first and its probably a good idea to change your h2o pump. Also change your radiator cap and if you are in alot of heat stuck in traffic then try to run some water wetter it does help.

did you bleed the air out of the motor when you put the coolant in? cuz that will certainly do it....theres a small valve by the thermostat..loosen it and keep pouring the coolant into the radiator until its shooting out the valve consistantly
