How do you do it and how difficult is it.

I'm going to put a 89si into a 89 dx, if i have the wiring harness do i still have to convert.

please use the search function

never use another wiring harness, always modify the stock harness

Why shouldn't i use the si harness.

because in order to use the Si engine harness you have to switch to the Si firewall harness....

in order to use the Si firewall harness you have to switch to the Si dash harness....

in order to use the Si dash harness.... Let's just say by the time your done there won't be a DX wire left in the car.

You do however need to get an Si harness to steal some plugs off of, which is all explained in the link above and about 5,000,000 times in previous posts on H-T that you can find by.... guess how?
