Default Question about the JDM 4 door one piece headlights

Does anyone know the exact difference between the JDM one piece and stock CRX ones?
I have been told they are very close but not exactly the same.
I want to buy a set for my 88 CRX but my hood is carbon fiber so I really cant be modified. I don have a problem getting other body work done to make them fit.
I just dont want to buy them if they wont work with my hood.
Thanks for any help.

I believe they are longer than the stock headlights... meanining youll have to mod your hood and probably your bumper

Yep, the corner light opening on the fender should be different. Also the headlights are not as tall as the CRX ones. Might want to check with '4drEF' he's got the front end on his sedan...

i just bought a set to put on my sedan. a few things i noticed...they are the same heigth and length (overall) as my sedan headlights/corner assemblies. BUT they are wider/deeper at the inner most lower corner, and the radiator support gets in the way of making them 'bolt-on'.

the angle will work with my stock hood line though. and being that crx/hatch/sedan all have the same headlight units...you can keep your cf hood.

well I seen this car in person and sorry but half of that is right the hood and headlights and believe also the fenders

bumper and corners are from a si-R EF9 he is unique

I got thw whole JDM front for the sedan and can tell u that the hood ain't going to work

been there tried that

and in order to make these headlights work u will need to get the front clip conversation from either PasswordJDM.com or Hmotorsonline.com

I tried this already so I know what u r trying to do
alot of moding to do u should just save up to do it right
