I just purchased a 2001 Spa Yellow S2K!
My only problem thus far is it appears to have the factory alarm installed and I can't figure out how to get it to arm or know if it's even working.
I have the little red light on my console, but it never flashes no matter what I do, and I have the valet button on the lower driver panel.
Before I go up to Honda and or spend hours looking into it I thought I would ask here.
I haven't looked into it much seeing as I just bought it, but I was wondering if any one knew of any possible common errors.

damn, i could of goten a job from a friend to install alarms, ill ask my friend tomorrow.

 

give this a try....

turn the valet switch, turn the key to on, then off, keys off, and try the alarm..vice versa..most valet switches are like that. but not sure about factory..

 

No luck.
I still have yet to look at more than for a few minutes though. I spent too much time cleaning it up this weekend.
I did check the 2 fuses for it and the connections, everything looks fine.
