i have a jdm itr header lying around for the longest time dont have an urge to install it.. but since i have it.. i think its about that time to put that sucker on...

but first things first.....

this may sound like a stupid question..... i just picked up a 2.5 donut from jhpusa. i opted for the cheaper gasket that they offer on the site. it says that it fits all 2.5 inch diameter header... ie T0da,sp00n, m0000gen blah blah blah....

at first i figured that the cheaper 2.5 inch donuts was universal... and it would fit the itr header.... but then as i scrolled down on their site..... i noticed that OEM honda makes one too... and jhp says its for honda's '98 spec header.

did i make a wrong move in purchasing the cheaper donut and not buying the OEM donut for the '98 spec exhaust mani?

 

i got the jdm ITR header on my car and when i first decideding to buy myself t he dounut people told me to get the one tht made for the header. but the only way to find out bro is to compare or bring it to a muffler shop and find out but i would think 2.5 is 2.5 but maybe am wrong. i bought the one made for the header so i couldnt go wrong, good luck on your install.

 

hmmm.... which one did you pick? the oem one?
