Default Stereo -> security problems -> no keyless entry

I wrecked my wife's 03 Civic EX and the shop did a considerable amount of work on it. When it was returned to us, I had to input a security code to make the stereo operational. There were some problems involving the air bag light and a mild vibration so we took it back to them.

They fixed those problems and left the car at our place. I just checked it a few hours back and found that the keyless entry didn't work. The dome lights didn't come on when the doors opened. Power locks didn't work.

If I turn on the car, those things work.

The stereo doesn't appear to come on at all, doesn't even display the code message (entering the code does nothing).

My thought is that the car thinks the stereo isn't there and I've read about some issues with Hondas having the same symptoms with aftermarket stereos.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Perhaps the headunit isn't getting any power? Perhaps it was damaged? Any simple things I can check other than the fuses?

Thanks!

Radio might be unplugged or missing a connection. Check for radio fuses, too.

Yeah... that's what I'll end up doing. It's just driving my wife crazy because she hasn't had a car for 7+ weeks and she keeps getting her hopes up. Then when another problem shows up, well... you get the idea.
