Default one of bolts on stock intake loose...

u know those 3 bolts that hold the stock intake tubing to the chassis? well the one of the right is loose cause i stripped the thread, i asked my mechanic and he says I can leave it, just as long as i can stand some rattling, what do u guys think? i've been trying to take it out but its really a bitch. and my dealer will charge $40 to take it out???? is it ok to leave it till i can pony up $40?

can u cut it off? or break it off...
I know this is what they do sometimes for other stuff
I had a similar prob with the box to make sure water doesn't get into the intake with my bros car, I couldn't get a rachet onto the bolts, so i melted the box off with a soldering iron and just left the bolts, no rattles. So it seems to be alright.
