just got my car back from acura due to clutch problem. on the reciept it says all the part number and then " Transponder key qty 1 ". fp number is 35113-sy8-t5. why is that listed? just wanted to know if they made a spare key for themself... thanks

 

no clue why that would be on there..did you ask for one?? did they give you one??

if no to the previous questions, go to the dealership and ask why this is listed, and if anyone made a key for themselves.

If you have a pocket sized recorder, press record and put it in your pocket when you go.

Edit: be sure to specify and make clear that you are worried about your car, with it being an ITR, and that you have seen how dealerships make keys and steal cars. Be very VERY proffesional, dont cause a scene, and dont try to accuse them of anything.

 

nope didnt ask them for any transponder key. i'll go check with the dealer tomorrow. i hope they dont say "ohh we mess up on the computer" then what should i say? maybe only the technican know or did this not the manager who i will talk too.

 

Def check that **** out just to cover your ***..........and if the unfortunate were to happen make sure you got that piece of paper for future reference.
