Help! anti-theft code for adio system...
.... i was changing my fuel filter and i disconnected batterie cable .. now my stereo doesnt work.. does any1 know how to get the code or can any1 help please
to get the code for this radio, if there isnt a sticker with it on the inside of your Honda booklet or manual, well, you can take the car to the dealer and they can cross reference the VIN and can give you the code, or, if they dont do that for ya, you can open up the dash, slide the radio out and write down the serial # on the radio and give them a call and ask them...chances are they will require you to be there, ****, i even heard someone say they once had to pay for it, like $50 or something because they didnt take the radio out themselves...
not if its a aftermarket one. u will need to get a byepasss code. or get call the makers where they will tell u to take it to a shop so they can put a chip to get the code or something like that.
i am in the same boat for a kenwood headunit.
they asked me about $40 or maybe more for that ****. ******* thiefs.
