spark plug problem...
hey i've been spending a lot money on spark plugs and here is my problem.
the spark plug keeps on breaking lose in the middle, ceramic area. when i pull the plug the whole middle inside part of the plug is lose and i can move it up and down and i can twist it around. anyone know why this is happening.

nope nothing is breaking off. just the whole electrode and ceramic part gets loose from the thread. you can move it around. everytime the cylinder comes to the compression stroke you can hear the plug go up and down like the valves was loose
they just some bosch platnum 4's. cause eversince this happened i didn't want to get no ngk's for this to happen to it.
my setup is an built ls/vtec

Buy new plugs, coat the threads with some Anti-Seize, plugs should be torqued to 10-15 ft lbs, NGKs are the best plug for Honda in my opinion, unless your running something crazy with a rev limiter of 9500+ in that case I would say Denso Iridiums would be nice.

I have a question about torqueing with anti-seize.. i put anti-seize on my plug and put a torque wrench to it set to about 11ft.lbs... i tighten it finger tight first and then put the torque wrench to it.. i've turned it quite a bit and it doens't seem to want to 'torque'.. soon after I decided I could be tightening it too much and so I stopped.. put a regular ratchet on and the plugs feel snug though.. is it possible that with the anti-seize torque setting will never be reached before you actually start stripping thing?
