Default D16Z6 into my 88Si.....

So this should just go right in and plug right up. As long as I have a Vtec controller right? Using stock Si tranny and stock Si ECU. I have a limited down time for this as this is not my shop I am using so anything I am going to need other than what I have I need to know before I am stuck. Thanks in advance.

NO. the dizzy needs some modifications to fit (a6 dist on z6 head). you will also need to splice wiring plugs from the z6 on the a6 harness.

a6 = 88-91 Si motor
z6 = 92-95 ex/si motor.

I have all the a6 stuff from original engine. So all I need is a z6 engine harness?
Will a6 harness not work on z6 engine?

some of the plugs will have to be swapped from the z6 harness to a a6 harness. but the a6 Dist will not directly bolt onto a z6. If u have all the z6 stuff (block, cyl head, intake manifold, ecu, wiring) I would just go Obd-1.

a conversion harness and some wiring away really.
