Usually, when you upgrade to a bigger duration/lift camshaft(s), it's a whole lot better and a lot more tuning can be had with upgraded valvetrai aswell (valvesprings, valves, cam gear(s), etc.)

Just the camshaft(s) alone won't give you much power at all. If anything, it might rob you of power if not tuned.

Invest in some valvesprings at least. You can go with the dualspring config. Then you can make some good power with tune.

Visit the All Motor threads. Lots of info there.

im fitting ctr pistons, valvesprings/retainers, already have toda gears and unichip to map the car. ive spoke to couple of guys with jun 3 (1 has sir2 imported from japan to over here in u.k). said there runnin stock valves with no problems so gonna keep with stock ones.

i might o for spoon/mugen headgasket to raise compression that little more but prefer oem 1 as less chance of leaks

id go ahead and get new valves and new valve guides. cause that valve has been goin up and down for god knows how longs. so just to be on the safe side get new valves and valve guides. No oversized valves are really needed. ur not running over 13:1 CR or boosting so your good. just get some new valves and maybe a 3 angle vavle grind

never realised full set of valves was so cheap so may just buy a set.

theres so many though, i just want ones that can be dropped straight in though (honda oem type fit ).

can someone list all ones that will be fine and ill just choose cheapest i can get from that list.

Id recomend REV valves, or Ferra. depending on budget. there valves are a little lighter than OEM. but u really cant go wrong with OEM valves.

If you'd like, i can get you a great deal on a set of Supertechs or Omni valves, they're great. All of the people using them are happy with the price and the performance (more importantly).

youve kinda confused me now. you say oem valves are very good so lets just say my oem valves are in excellent condition, would you still recommend i change them for better aftermarket ones ?

when you use jun camshafts thay dont reccomend using aftermarket valves i have seen people do this and they end up having a lot of problems. and if you do use the cams you also need to use jun valvesprings if you use somthing else you could also have trouble. jun made everthing to work together with each other for reliability. i have jun 3's in a b16a, jun valvesprings, crower retainers, stock valves, ctr pistonsand has been running reliably for like 2 years now at 192 hp at the front wheels

I have the same set up...as CyferMAH . Jun does not reccomend using oversized valves because the overlap is built into the cam, and makes the valves hit easily. This is also why jun does not adjust their cams with cam gears very much.
