Basic Books for Hondas ?
I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on good reading material that cover the basics of Hondas. I've pretty much got everything down (I think), but before I start tinkering with my Accord, I'd rather have a decent understanding of what I'm doing and how it's going to affect my cars performance, durability, and over all quality. I've searched, but only a couple archived threads came up, and I'm not really concerned about specific components / brands of parts for the car. I'd specifically like to learn about suspension, fuel, and electronics (ecu / obd1&2), because those are pretty much my only hazy areas. Thanks

I have the same thing and it seems pretty in depth when it comes to what malfunctions a lot in the Honda family of cars, i also have a Haynes manual and the Honda service book just in case, although i paid like 30 bucks for the Honda book, i dont really use it yet...

If you want free information about your car then I recomend that you check out your local library. Some public librarys have Alldata on their computers. Alldata is a software that all dealerships and automotive service shops use to repair cars and the software is updated montly so information is always up to date.

Not a bad book. more help for civis and tegs, though. Does have some nice ideas for H22, but some incorrect info as well. A good read. I would get a Helms or at least a Haynes if you don't already.
Then, use the search function. It will show you more than those books about practical apps. and it is FREE!

WTF you talking about. You are only 17. Get yourself a service manual. everything explained along with flowcharts and such.
I have been a tech for 5 years ASE certified and still learning everyday.
